Privacy Policy
How Frenzy collects, uses, and protects your information.
Effective date: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Frenzy collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Frenzy platform, websites, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Frenzy is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to everyone who uses the Service, including:
- Restaurants — owners, managers, and team members of food or hospitality businesses that post campaigns.
- Creators — food and lifestyle creators who apply to and complete campaigns.
- Visitors — people who browse our public pages without an account.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
Depending on how you use the Service, you may give us:
- Account and profile data: name, display name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), role, and profile photo or avatar.
- Creator profile data: your market or location, biography, social-media handles and links, follower range, content styles, dietary information you choose to share, and sample work.
- Restaurant profile data: business name, business address, cuisine, price range, links, and logo or photos.
- Campaign and submission data: Briefs, pitches, planned styles, the live post URL of your published video, captions, and a proof screenshot you upload to demonstrate the post and its view count.
- Payment-related data: information needed to pay or charge you, handled primarily by our payment processor (see Section 2.3). This includes payout-account and onboarding details you provide to Stripe and limited billing records we keep.
- Communications: messages, support requests, ratings, reviews, dispute and takedown reports, and other content you send through or about the Service.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Service, we and our providers may automatically collect:
- Location data: we convert (“geocode”) the addresses or markets you enter into approximate latitude and longitude so we can match Restaurants and Creators by distance. We use the location you provide; we do not need precise device GPS to operate the marketplace.
- Usage and device data: log data such as actions taken in the Service, pages viewed, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and device information, used for security, analytics, and improving the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser; some features may not work without them.
2.3 Information from third parties
We receive limited information from service providers that help us run the Service — for example, our payment processor confirms payout-onboarding status and transaction results, and our infrastructure providers supply security and delivery data. We do not scrape social-media platforms; view counts are verified from the proof you submit, not pulled automatically from TikTok or Instagram.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts and profiles, and operate the marketplace.
- Match Restaurants and Creators by location, cuisine, platform, and other campaign criteria.
- Process campaign funding, hold reserves, verify work, and release Creator payouts.
- Verify submissions and view counts, and run moderation, ratings, reputation, strikes, and takedown processes.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send you service-related notifications (currently delivered in-app, and by email where enabled).
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
- Analyze and improve the Service, including aggregated marketplace metrics.
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax and record-keeping requirements, and enforce our agreements.
4. How We Share Information
We are a marketplace, so some information is shared between users by design. We share personal information as follows:
4.1 Between users
To make a campaign work, certain information is visible to the other side. Restaurants can see Creator profile details (such as display name, market, social handles, follower range, content styles, samples, ratings, and reputation level) and the submissions and proof for their own campaigns. Creators can see Restaurant and campaign details needed to apply and perform. Information tied to one user’s account is generally not visible to unrelated users.
4.2 With service providers
We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf under contract, including our payment processor (Stripe, for funding and payouts), our hosting and database provider, and analytics and communication providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
4.3 For legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Frenzy, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
4.4 Business transfers
If Frenzy is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.
4.5 No sale of personal information
Frenzy does not sell your personal information for money, and does not display third-party advertising or let advertisers pay to target you within the Service. To the extent any data sharing described above is treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law, you may exercise the choices described in Section 8.
5. Payments and Financial Information
Restaurant funding and Creator payouts are processed by Stripe through Stripe Payments and Stripe Connect. Frenzy does not store full payment-card numbers or bank-account credentials; those are collected and held by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We retain limited records such as transaction amounts, fee and reserve calculations, ledger entries, and payout status, which we keep for accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance purposes.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce our agreements. Financial-ledger records are kept as immutable records for these purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. How We Protect Information
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls that limit data to the account it belongs to, server-side permission checks, encryption in transit, restricted private storage for sensitive uploads such as submission proof, and protected handling of administrative credentials. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard your information and to address incidents responsibly.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
8.1 Everyone
You can review and update most profile information directly in the Service, and you can request that we close your account. You can control cookies through your browser and manage in-app notifications in your settings. To make a privacy request, contact us at frenzyadvertise@gmail.com.
8.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; know the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share information; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2 and include identifiers, contact and profile details, commercial and transaction information, internet/usage activity, approximate location, and audiovisual content (such as your submitted media and proof). We use and disclose these categories for the business purposes described in Sections 3 and 4. As noted above, Frenzy does not sell personal information for money.
To exercise your California rights, email frenzyadvertise@gmail.com with the nature of your request. We will verify your request, typically by confirming control of your account email, before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
8.3 Other U.S. states
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out. We honor applicable rights; contact us at the email above to make a request, and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Links
The Service connects to third-party platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, where Creators publish content, and includes links you provide to your social profiles. Those platforms have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platform you use in connection with Frenzy.
10. Where Information Is Processed
Frenzy is operated from the United States, and we and our providers process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means and update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
